The JCPA is an organization of pilots based at the Jefferson County International Airport in Port Townsend, Washington. Membership is open to any person who holds an Airman’s Certificate (Pilot or A&P), Student Pilot License, or who owns an aircraft based at Jefferson County International Airport. There is no initiation fee, and there are no dues.
Our mission is to develop general aviation; To further the operation of Jefferson County International Airport; To educate the general public about aviation; To promote aviation safety, and; To encourage fraternity among airmen and airwomen.
We used to meet monthly, and still do if there is urgent business to address. Otherwise, meetings are quarterly and are usually in the Library of the PT Aero Museum. That gives us a warm and dry place to meet rather than dealing with the weather for meetings in a hangar.
Members are notified by email in advance of the next meeting and receive a newsletter before the meeting.
